Delivery & Returns

UK orders are dispatched by the following methods, shown with approximate timescales in working days.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 – 3 to 5 days (£3.95, complimentary on orders of £150 or more)
Royal Mail Tracked 24 – 1 to 2 days (£4.95)
Royal Mail Special Delivery – next working day for orders placed before 2pm, signature required (from £12)
DHL Courier – 1 to 2 days (complimentary on orders of £250 or more)

International orders are delivered by FedEx, fully tracked, with customs clearance handled for you. Two services are offered at checkout, shown with approximate timescales in working days from dispatch.

Standard Shipping (FedEx International Connect Plus)
Europe – 1 to 4 days
United States & Canada – 3 to 4 days
Rest of the world – 3 to 5 days

Express Shipping (FedEx International Priority)
1 to 3 days, with most destinations reached within 1 to 2 days

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout according to the weight of your order and its destination.

All orders delivered within the UK include 20% VAT. Orders delivered outside the UK do not include UK VAT.

International orders are sent duties and taxes paid, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery. For the United States and most European countries, import duties and taxes are already included in the prices shown on our website. For all other destinations, they are calculated and added at checkout before you pay.

When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. You can also check its progress at any time on our Track your order page.

UK customers

Returns within the UK are free, using our prepaid Royal Mail returns service:

1. Go to the Royal Mail returns portal.
2. In the retailer search box, enter our returns service provider, ‘CF Returns Service’.
3. Fill in the details requested, making sure you enter your correct order number. Under return reason, enter ‘REFUND’.
4. Follow the instructions to generate your returns label or QR code.

As soon as we receive your item back, we will issue your refund.

International customers

For orders being sent back to the UK from overseas we are unable to offer a free returns service. Please send your package back to our returns service provider at the following address:

If you have any queries about the process please contact us at enquiries@bensonandclegg.com before returning goods so that we can advise accordingly. If you are outside of the 31 day window please contact us.

If you return goods either because you have cancelled the order or the goods are incorrect or faulty please make sure that they are securely packed preferably in the original packaging and you send them back using a "signed for" service so that we can avoid any problems resulting from loss or damage in transit.

Our Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Orders which require customisation, such as engraving, may take longer to complete prior to dispatch, and so are not subject to the guide timelines indicated above. We will endeavour to complete these for you as soon as possible once we receive the order.
