The Criterion Theatre on Piccadilly Circus, opened in 1874 and built almost entirely underground, inspires this pocket square, with its central ceiling rose surrounded by gilded garlands and fine geometric borders. Dorota Stumpf sets the gold work against a smoky slate blue, finished with a gold rolled edge. It is a full 40cm by 40cm, in 100% silk. The blue and gold combination is quietly formal, suiting a navy or charcoal suit for an evening at the theatre or a smart dinner. A natural gift for a theatre-lover, and a companion to the Criterion Theatre Purple colourway.
