The crown and anchor is a long-standing emblem of British naval service, and this badge brings it to the blazer pocket. Each badge is built up by hand from gold bullion wire, silks and cottons, with every length of wire individually cut and placed to give a crisp, raised image. It measures approximately 9cm high by 6.5cm wide. It sits naturally on a navy blazer for regattas, yacht club gatherings and naval reunions. A badge like this is traditionally sewn to the left breast pocket, centred and just below the pocket opening. Dry clean only.
