A heraldic shield picked out in blue enamel gives this button a rich, traditional look. Struck in crisp relief, each button passes through more than a dozen stages before it is finished, a design long associated with Benson & Clegg of Jermyn Street. It is finished in gold plate with blue enamel over gilding metal, the traditional alloy for military and blazer buttons. Large buttons measure 2.0cm and small cuff buttons 1.5cm. Sold individually, it is ideal for replacing a lost button or adding cuff buttons to match a set. The blue enamel pairs naturally with a navy blazer.
