Woven in the colours of the Royal Air Force, these braces carry service pride beneath a suit jacket. Albert Thurston, the renowned English braces maker, hand crafts every pair. Woven in jacquard silk, they have gilt brass fittings and pressed leather ends, measure 35mm wide and 110cm (44in) long, and adjust to fit. Braces let trousers hang cleanly from the waist, giving a better line than a belt, especially with a waistcoat or high-waisted cut. Six buttons are included, and each pair is presented in a gift box, ready to give. Clip-on brace buttons are also available for trousers without buttons.

"I required a replacement pair of quality braces, the previous hand made silk pair providing me 35 years of service through countless military parades and social events. I was impressed by the advertising including previous customer testimonies underpinned by a strong military heritage. The braces were for one of my kilts for a formal event and they had to be perfect. Wearing a waistcoat meant I was denied the opportunity to wear a kilt belt and the braces proved to be perfect for this occasion. Age braces have a great finish, quality materials, giving a comfortable fit, for me certainly, and perfect for what was a protracted full day of formal events. They provided great confidence and great value for money in my personal opinion."
