Sterling Silver Oval Red Carnelian Cufflinks

Carnelian, a translucent variety of chalcedony, has a warm red-orange glow that has made it a favourite of seal engravers and jewellers for centuries. Each stone carries its own natural variation. The stone is inlaid on both the front and back faces, so each link looks finished from either side, and a swivel fitting passes easily through a double cuff.

Each pair is made by hand in a Yorkshire workshop from sterling silver and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.

Warm against navy, grey or charcoal and well suited to autumn and winter dressing, they make a distinctive gift. Presented in a Benson & Clegg box.
